When engaging in any form of physical activity, it's crucial to not only attend training sessions but also train in a way that ensures the well-being of your body. Stand-up paddle boarding offers gentle and accommodating workouts suitable for all fitness levels. It doesn't involve jarring impacts, allowing your muscles to stretch smoothly and preventing excessive strain on your joints. Moreover, it provides an excellent cardiovascular workout, making it beneficial for individuals with sedentary lifestyles.

Guidelines for guests

【On yourself】Clothing/Footwear: swimsuit and covered clothing, a hat with a visor. It's better not to bring sunglasses as they can get lost if you fall into the water. Footwear is only necessary if you plan to stop on the rocks. Sneakers, water shoes, or Crocs are suitable for this purpose.

【With you】- dry clothes for the return journey and a waterproof bag for wet clothes. A set of dry clothes should be left in the car/safe box. If you are using transfers, you cannot board the car in wet clothes.

How the SUP session goes:

We gather at the designated time and location. Being more than 15 minutes late means the group will leave without the latecomers. In case of failure to arrive on time, the deposit is non-refundable. It's better to arrive early.
We proceed to the starting point. Unload, change clothes, and prepare to get on the water.
Before getting on the water, an instruction is given on the shore. Everyone attentively listens to what the instructor explains. On the water, EVERYONE must always listen to the instructor's commands.
If you are experienced enough, you can go on the water without instruction, but you must follow the group on the water unless the instructor gives you specific instructions.
After the session ends, everyone returns to the starting point. If you are participating in a downwind session, then everyone gathers at the planned finish location.
The session lasts for about three hours. The group should return to the shore together. If, due to your fault, the group is delayed for more than half an hour, a penalty of 100 yuan will be imposed.
If you want to paddle without a group, do not sign up for a group session, but book a personal session or rent boards without supervision.

【Life jackets】 Starting from May 1, 2022, EVERYONE must have a life jacket on the board. It doesn't matter how well you can swim - you must wear a life jacket. The deposit for a life jacket is 100 yuan. The deposit is returned after the trip when you personally hand the jacket back to the instructor. The jacket should be free of sand and seaweed.

【Paddles】can sink. To prevent the paddle from sinking, it should always be held either in your hands or securely attached to the board. The paddle should not touch hard surfaces or sand. Do not throw the paddle on asphalt or sand, and if possible, avoid touching rocks in the sea with it. Losing or breaking a paddle incurs a penalty ranging from 200 to 800 yuan. The paddle should be returned clean.

【Fin】has a structural vulnerability. If the board is in a shallow water or on land, under the weight of the body, it can bend, get lost or get broken. You can sit or stand on the board only when it is in the water, at a depth of at least 40 cm. In case of breakage, the cost of repair can range from 50 to 400 yuan. The repair is paid by the person who loses or breaks the structure. It is not allowed to assist the instructor in removing or installing fins on the boards.

I'm very grateful to Misha Supoholic for the amazing sunrises and sunsets, the wonderful experience, and the great company. The morning in the peaceful city, slowly waking up, was incredibly beautiful from such an unusual perspective. This morning will be remembered for a long time in my memory, and it won't be the last.

In the morning, when you go for a SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboarding) session, it's easier for beginners because there aren't many big waves or strong wind. It's like the water is calm and peaceful. But in the afternoon, things get a little trickier. There might be bigger waves and stronger wind, which can make it harder for beginners to balance on the board. So, if you want a better chance of standing up on the board without falling, it's best to go in the morning.
